..I think you'll be sad if you did.............................last CHELA show til'..

next year............we're on sabattical in July 2004.............................

.this is hot s(*&....................probably will go late and partyesque......

1. This will be the debut of an installation/performance by Philly-based artist Chiara Giovando. Chiara and her collaborators will create a cloth chandelier, considering both the shape of a cloth chandelier and how it would be made, if one were to undertake the action. The piece will focus on the audience entering and considering, likely for the first time, the experience of viewing the creation of a cloth chandelier. Audio and visual elements will be provided to enhance the viewers understanding of the cloth chandelier.

2. Several Baltimore musicians/artists/writers will be performing pieces you have never seen before and will likely never see again. Including live music, vidoe, p-art, and more.

Jackie Milad & Tom Boram: Jackie and Tom will conduct a psychological test and survey to determine the most appropriate soundtrack per individual audience members.

Bonnie Jones & Dan Breen: "One Thousand Two Hundered Winks" : 24 Hours with Dan Breen & Bonnie Jones. A performance prejudiced by duration.

Fred Van Dyk & Melissa Moore: Video with live musical accompaniment on invented instruments.

Ric Royer, Lauren Bender & Cindy Rehm: "Temporary Human Language: A performance movie about physical limitations and that burning feeling"

BIOS

3. FINALLY - This will be the VERY LAST CHELA performance before we all go on sabattical for one year starting in July. yes, tear rolls here, we are taking off for one year, while several collective members travel about and get into some other rumpus round town and overseas. This show will likely devolve into a little going away party.. don't want to miss that do you?
