Jackie Milad & Tom Boram: Jackie is co-founder of CHELA. She ran her own jewelry design
business for 4 years before returning to grad school for an MFA degree
from Towson. She received a BFA from the School of Museum of Fine
Arts. Jackie draws and makes things - getting her inspiration out
of repetition and watching people move. Mr. Boram is a local musician
and performer - AKA as part SNACKS, part LEPRECHAUN CATERING. Mr. Boram
and Jackie love Bollywood circa 1970 and dream of becoming dancing
extras with bells
and
incense.
Chiara Giovando: Chiara is a performer, musician/sound artist
currently living in Philadelphia PA. Chiara is interested
in making art pieces which are essentially difficult situations. Often
her work is about attempting to do something and then doing it the most
inefficient way possible, therefore exposing the action. For this show,
the cloth chandelier is a way to show the audience
something beautiful.
Bonnie Jones: My shoes have fox toes, performer, performer,
astro fascist, half snake eyes over chai eye. She formulates burlap-perfect
with Assist-Hat Tick, Shot Put, end Catherine Pancake. bonniesite

Melissa Moore: reeds,sound experimenter,instrument
builder. in the duo;" space has infinite
density", with local musician/filmaker catherine pancake. Fairly
new to the Baltimore experimental/improv scence. using various metals,
rods, pipes, springs, strings with magnets, motors, and fire to create
otherworldly, spacey vibrations and oscillations. excitation of material,
giving voice to microcosmic subatomitry.
Fred Van Dyk: Fred is a local worker, sculptor, video-maker,
hunter, gatherer, father. Born and bred in the wooly plains of Montana
and currently resides in Baltimore. MICA MFA student, and boat guide on

Ric Royer is a CHELA Collective member. He leaves
for England in September to study in the Performance Writing program
at Dartington
College of Art.

Cindy Rehm: Cindy Rehm is an artist and Visiting Assistant
Professor at UMBC. In September 2003, she opened "spare room",
an installation
space inside her home.
