CHELA
is located in the historic Broom Factory in Canton, Southeast Baltimore.
The building is a professional space with offices, some artist studios,
wood/metalsmithing workshops, and other small businesses. The building is
in use 24 hours a day. As such we ask that all CHELA audience members KINDLY
RESPECT THE SPACE AND THOSE WHO WORK THERE.
We can't stress this more, since the reason we're allowed to run CHELA is
due to the fact that we swore to always be considerate of other tenants
in terms of noise level, vandalism, trash etc.

If you are already in Baltimore
Take Fleet Street in Fells Point and merge right at the liquor store onto
Boston Street
See the Sip and Bite? Don't stop and head up Boston Street towards the round
industrial tanks and the building with the huge satellite dish on top
Once you go past the Safeway the Broom Factory is about 3 minutes up on
the Left hand side.
Take a left onto BAYLIS Street before Conkling for the main entrance to
the building
The parking lot in front of the Broom Factory can be used by guests.
From the North (Philadelphia, New York, and points
North)
Take I-95 South to I-695 West towards Towson (Baltimore Beltway).
Take the Beltway to I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway).
Take I-83 until it ends. I-83 South turns into President Street
Follow President Street as it wraps to the left
President Street will drop you onto Fleet Street
Take Fleet Street and merge right at the liquor store onto Boston Street
See the Sip and Bite? Don't stop and head up Boston Street towards the round
industrial tanks and the building with the huge satellite dish on top
Once you go past the Safeway the Broom Factory is about 3 minutes up on
the Left hand side.
Take a left onto BAYLIS Street before Conkling for the main entrance to
the building

Take I-83 South towards Baltimore
Take I-83 until it ends. I-83 South turns into President Street

Take I-95 North to I-395, Downtown Baltimore.
Take the spur downtown.
Once downtown, make a right onto Pratt Street.
Take Pratt Street to President Street. (This is past the Inner Harbor area)
Take a Right onto President Street and merge left at the end of the street
onto Fleet Street.
Take Fleet Street and merge right at the liquor store onto Boston Street

Take I-695 to I-95 North. Take I-95 North to I-395, Downtown Baltimore.
Take the spur downtown.
